This course will:

• Describe the different mechanisms and types of pain
• Review the treatment and medical specialists often involved in pain management
• Compare medical rehabilitation management to interventional pain management approaches
• Review physical therapy and education and behavioral intervention
• Provide an overview of the different types of medications and common injections, and how to work toward the best overall outcome
