Despite COVID-19, our case managers are using their long-held relationships to attend appointments when safe, and using telepresence and telemedicine platforms to schedule and attend appointments when it is not safe to meet in-person. During COVID-19 and beyond, our case managers create the connections necessary to ensure the best possible outcome for each case.

COVID-19 has created return to work questions with uncertain answers. Does the pre-employment position still exist? Are there remote work options? Is the recovering worker immunocompromised? These complexities are not going away, and may only intensify with a protracted resolution of the COVID situation.” Our case managers are prepared to help navigate it all. 

Vocational services achieve results

When working with complex injuries, the reality is that returning every injured worker to their pre-injury position will not always be possible. Despite a challenging job market and social distancing requirements, our vocational team has been successfully helping to place injured workers in positions that meet or exceed their original compensation. Our vocational experts are creatively providing a full suite of vocational services to ensure each injured worker has the opportunity to regain meaningful employment.

Field case management on demand

We understand the value of the connections case managers create by attending appointments. However, our case managers understand that attending every appointment is not necessary. Our case management data conclusively demonstrates that by working closely with injured workers and only attending appointments critical to a cases progression, we are able to obtain the same incredible results at a lower cost to our partners. Paradigm case managers are trained to understand which appointments are critical, and which may be managed telephonically. The result is lower case costs without sacrificing outcomes.
