Marijo Storment, CEO, Paradigm Complex Care Solutions, was honored as one of Business Insurance’s 2019 Women to Watch in New York City on December 11-12, 2019. She was joined at the event by Jean Brajuha, Vice President, Operations, Paradigm Complex Care Solutions; Jean Paltzer, Executive Vice President, Account Management, Paradigm Specialty Networks; Dionne Lacey-Artis, Senior Vice President, Sales, Paradigm Complex Care Solutions; and Kathy Galia, Chief Operations Officer, Paradigm Catastrophic Care Management.
The event celebrates leading women in the industry, and provides educational programming for commercial insurance, risk management, and other related fields.
“I am humbled to be selected alongside such accomplished and extraordinary women,” said Storment. “It is a true honor to be recognized as a leader in our industry.”
The Women to Watch nomination and application process is extensive and competitive. Nominees complete an application, and provide a list of references. Two separate selection committees consider the applications and interview references before narrowing down the group of over 300 candidates to the 30 United States and 20 international honorees.
Brajuha, Paltzer, Lacey-Artis, and Galia also participated with Storment at the educational conference. “It was incredible to have such talented co-workers and friends here supporting me and taking advantage of the educational opportunities,” continued Storment. “Women to Watch honors individuals, but I would not be where I am without the support of incredible people. I am thrilled some of them could be here with me for this special event.”
Storment has over 20 years of industry experience. Prior to leading Paradigm’s Complex Care Solutions division, Storment was the CEO of ALARIS, where she helped drive the company’s coast-to-coast expansion. She oversaw the integration of ALARIS and Encore into a unified case management offering, the acquisition of ALARIS into the Paradigm family, and the transition from ALARIS | Encore to Paradigm Complex Care Solutions.
“Being honored as one of Business Insurance’s Women to Watch has provided an opportunity to look back and reflect,” finished Storment. “I am proud of my accomplishments, but am even more excited for the future. I see so much opportunity to make a difference, and am motivated to continue pushing myself and Paradigm Complex Care Solutions to positively impact more lives.”
