Paradigm Returns to
National Comp in 2021

Each year, the National Comp conference brings organizations and thought leaders across the industry together to discuss the issues and challenges we all face. After a virtual event last year, the 2021 conference will take place in person, October 20-22, at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

The Paradigm team is excited to attend this year’s National Comp, where we will once again be a Gold Sponsor. With 2021 marking Paradigm’s 30th anniversary, this event offers us a wonderful opportunity to highlight our mission of achieving life-changing outcomes through accountable care management.

Registration for the event is still open, and National Comp is encouraging participants to make plans to safely attend. We invite everyone to visit Paradigm’s booth, #1040, located on the main aisle of the exhibition, to celebrate with us and learn about the exciting plans we have in store for the future.

Showcasing what’s next in accountable care management
Members of the Paradigm leadership team will be presenting at the conference on Thursday, October 21. The presentation, Transforming Recovery – The Power of Episodic Care Management, will feature Kevin Turner, Dr. Michael Choo, and Kathy Galia as they explore this emerging topic in workers’ compensation.

In health care, episodes of care programs take a value-focused approach to treatment. By bundling all of the services associated with an injury or condition into a single episode and payment, this method can help lower costs while improving outcomes. With the workers’ compensation sector continuing to move toward patient-centered treatment and value-based care, this concept looks to play a growing role.

Many barriers to recovery in common, and often costly, workplace injuries are rooted in a fee-for-service model that can drive injured worker confusion, gaps in care, and unnecessary costs. Kevin, Dr. Choo, and Kathy will show how programs based on episodes of care can remove communication gaps and increase access to quality providers. By using a work-related shoulder injury as a case study, the presentation will demonstrate the ability for increased return-to-work rates and financial predictability.

Register for this speaking session and add it to your calendar so you can attend and learn more.

We’re focusing on health and safety standards
Paradigm fully supports the health and safety of all attendees and exhibitors, which is why we will be following all protocols set forth by National Comp and health officials at the time of the event.
