Paradigm Management Services Announces Two New Senior Vice Presidents

CONCORD, CA – July 27, 2009 – Paradigm Management Services, the nation’s leading provider of catastrophic medical management services, today introduced Kevin Turner as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Account Management, and Mary Baranowski as Senior Vice President of Business Development.  Turner will lead the sales and account management teams, while Baranowski will head product development and assist with building new major account relationships.

“I expect the experience and expertise represented by these two market leaders to translate directly into an expansion of our customer base,” said Paradigm President Kevin Fleming.  “Kevin Turner brings proven skills in developing and implementing effective market strategies.  He clearly understands the unique challenges of a complex sale and how to lead successful sales teams.  Additionally, Mary’s complementary record of leveraging company strengths and client insight into influential product solutions points to significant new opportunities.”

Most recently, Turner served as Executive Vice President of Business Development for Cambridge Integrated Services Group, overseeing $325 million in annual revenue.  There he was a member of the executive committee and helped set the organization’s mission, goals and overall strategy.  Previously, Turner held the role of Senior Vice President of Operations at Cambridge, and has also developed claims management best practices for companies such as Ryder Systems and Chrysler Corporation.

“I‘m pleased to join the talented management team at Paradigm during this exciting time in their history,” said Turner.  “With an enhanced product suite and other operational strengths in place, I expect Paradigm to grow considerably as we continue to lead the industry in achieving excellent clinical and financial outcomes.”

Baranowski joins Paradigm from Coventry Health Care where she spent the past several years leading various product development and contracting strategies.  During her tenure with Coventry, Baranowski led the expansion of workers’ compensation products nationally, including PPO network development, state certified programs and network integration, to deliver significant financial value to customers.

“Getting the chance to explore new ways of meeting the needs of our clients is an exciting opportunity,” said Baranowski, “especially since I will be working from a core of already strong products and services.  Helping this successful company reach the tipping point is my primary goal.”
